Jadrolinija transported over 10 million passengers last year

By 2022 Newsletter week 2

Croatia Week writes that Jadrolinija transported 10.5 million passengers and 3.1 million vehicles last year, which is 85% of the 2019 result and 40% more passengers and vehicles than in the pandemic year 2020.

Even though 2021 was good in terms of business results, the company is cautious about its revenue estimate and expects revenue to be lower than in the pre-pandemic years.

Losses in 2020 were significant and the decline in the number of passengers and vehicles transported has significantly affected the operator’s revenue and liquidity.

In December 2021 the government granted Jandrolinija support in the amount of HRK 52 million to cover its fixed costs. (EUR 7 million)
