On August 5, 2023, Aegean Sea Lines’ ANEMOS (ex-ROSELLA) made her debut on the Piraeus – Western Cyclades line. The ship underwent a 5-month interior- and exterior renovation and eventually entered service on the Piraeus – Serifos – Sifnos – Milos and Piraeus – Sifnos – Ios – Santorini lines.

Aegean Sea Lines announced that her flagship ANEMOS (ex- ROSELLA) enters service on July 21, 2023.
The ship will serve on the Piraeus – Serifos – Sifnos – Milos and Piraeus – Sifnos – Ios – Santorini lines, while for the current period she is being replaced by Anek Lines’ PREVELIS.

Aegean Sea Lines announced their return to the Hellenic Coastal Lines with ANEMOS (former ROSELLA) on June 26, 2023. The ship will serve on the Piraeus – Serifos – Sifnos – Milos and Piraeus – Sifnos – Ios – Santorini lines.
Currently, she is dry docked and undergoing interior refit at Perama repair zone. According to Aegean Sea Lines: “A trip is not just about booking tickets. It is much more. On February 5, 2023, Aegean Sea Lines cruise ferry ANEMOS (ex ROSELLA) arrived in Greece after a 12-day journey from Mariehamn.
Ship’s first stop was at the island of Sifnos (her shipowner’s place of origin), where people gave her a warm welcome. Then, the ship visited shortly the island of Serifos and her journey ended up at Perama Repair Zone, where she will undergo a small-scale conversion. She is expected to join the Hellenic Coastal Shipping in the beginning of summer 2023.

Aegean Sea Lines’ cruise ferry ANEMOS was officially delivered to her new owners on January 18. The ship raised the Greek flag during a short ceremony, while she is scheduled to depart for Greece on January 23, 2022.
Among the Greek crew is also the CEO of Aegean Sea Lines Mr Ioannis Depastas. The ship is expected to arrive at the port of Piraeus in early February and she will be led to Perama repair zone in order to undergo a small-scale conversion before entering service on the Piraeus-Western Cyclades line.

Corsica Ferries announced that it has acquired a stake in NEOLINE Armateur, which will build a 136-metre-long cargo ship mainly propelled by the wind to save more than 80% of fuel compared to a conventional ro-ro vessel.
Aegean Sea Lines’ crew is currently working at the Port of Mariehamn preparing the former ROSELLA for delivery to her new owner, the Greek Aegean Sea Lines.
The Viking Line ship was sold in December 2022 for EUR 11,25 million.
She will be delivered on January 16, 2023 and renamed ANEMOS.
The ropax will be introduced on the Piraeus- Western Cyclades route on the summer 2023, after a small-scale conversion.
Currently, she is having her original name and livery erased while she is expected to raise the Greek flag within the next days.
