Stena Line is developing digital twins of its vessels within the EU-funded Twin Ship Horizon Europe project. The virtual models allow engineers to simulate technical upgrades and operational scenarios to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The platform combines vessel data, AI, and machine learning to support decisions on routing, speed, and ship improvements.
