- Mid-April, DFDS introduced the chartered ro-ro vessel TRANSPORTER (Eckerö) on the Norway – Belgium – Immingham route.It is a weekly service, with departures on Mondays from Fredrikstad, Halden on Tuesdays, Zeebrugge on Thursdays and Immingham on Saturdays
- In addition to Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearic Islands, Corsica Ferries started to connect Toulon and Sicily on 22 April 2019 too.
