Second Double-Ender For Bluferries Launched In Greece
Bluferries, Italian shipping company controlled by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (company part of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane) and active on the two sides of the Strait of Messina, is soon to receive its second ferry from Greece.
A few days ago, the newly built ferry SIKANIA has been launched by Celt Navtecnica Maritime Services and is the sister-ship of the vessel TRINACRIA delivered in 2018 and built by Perama-based Megatechnica shipyard.
Ferrando & Massone of Genoa acted as broker of the deal which is worth EUR 18 million for the second unit.
Some particulars: 400 passengers, 150 cars or 23 trucks. Overall length 104m.
