New Damen-built Ferries Arrive in Canada

Just after sunrise on 18 January, two new BC Ferries hybrid-electric Island Class ships arrived in BC & docked at Ogden Point. The arrival of these vessels, built in Romania by Damen, marks the dawn of a new era of clean, quiet and efficient ferry transportation on BC’s coast.
