Balearia’s High-Speed Craft PINAR DEL RIO will be scrapped in the port of Denia. The seacat hit rocks on 17 August, after which it was taking water. Everybody was safely evacuated but the damage to the vessel was serious.
In agreement with the insurance company and the port captain it was decided to scrap the vessel on site.
