The president of Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea , Antonio Armas Fernández, has died on Tuesday 15 March 2022, as reported by the company through a statement. Son of the company’s founder, Antonio Armas Curbelo, he took over from his father in 1968 and was a pioneer in 1973, with the introduction of roro ferries in inter-island traffic in the Canary Islands.
