FRS Helgoline’s high-speed catamaran HALUNDER JET carried approximately 174,000 passengers during the 2025 season, which began on 27 March and ended on 2 November.

Managing Director Tim Kunstmann reported stable demand throughout the season, with strong performance from Hamburg, Cuxhaven and Brunsbüttel.

Brunsbüttel, introduced as a departure port in early 2024, became further established, supported by convenient access and free parking beside the landing stage.

Passengers also made use of intermediate journeys between Hamburg, Brunsbüttel and Cuxhaven.

Special events and offers included the fifth FRS Helgoline Music Cruise, extended stays on Helgoland, family promotions and guided seal tours on neighbouring Düne.

The crossing from Hamburg takes approximately 3½ hours, combining a voyage along the Lower Elbe with the North Sea passage to Helgoland.
