Over 100 meters long and with the capacity to transport 90 cars and 372 pax – these are the parameters of the new hybrid ferry that CRIST will build for the Finnish ferry operator Finferries.
The steel-cutting proces has started on 1 July 2020.
The P 315 ferry will be powered by shore-charged batteries. The diesel power generators will serve as a backup power source for the unit, used in bad weather or large ice buildup along its route.
The ferry is to be operated by a crew of three. Vessel is designed by LMG Marin.
