A New French Ferry for Yeu Islandar

Stirling Design International and Piriou Shipyard designed a new coastal ferry vessel for public transportation towards French “Yeu” island (south of Saint-Nazaire).

The ship is to be built in Saint-Nazaire and Concarneau (France) and delivered in 2022.

To be named INSULA OYA III, she will replace the almost 40-year old  INSULA OYA II (MarineTraffic)

Length: 55m / Width: 13m / Draft: 2m35 / steel hull and aluminium superstructure / 391 pax / enclosed car deck for 12 cars and 4 motorcycles.
