An operation of commercial bunkering with LNG fuel was carried out at the Tri-City ports. Cargo vessels with the “fuel of the future” called at Gdynia and Gdansk last week. These were the first operations of this type in Poland.
The foundation stone for the construction of a new flyover at the Port Polnocny has just been laid.
The Port of Gdansk Authority is carrying out the largest investment programme in its history. One of its elements involves the expansion of the road and railway network at the Port Polnocny, to cope with the incredible traffic growth.
The Port of Gdansk has signed a contract for the expansion and modernisation of the road and rail network in the Outer Port.
The project is co-funded from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and is yet another contract involving EU subsidies signed by the Port of Gdansk within recent months. The value of the contract amounts to nearly PLN 176 million.
