Panellenic Lines’ HSC SANTA IRINI arrived at the port of Heraklion

On July 23, 2022, and after a 2-month intensive upgrading and dry docking at Neos Molos (Drapetsona) and Piraeus, HSC SANTA IRINI (former ALMUDAINA DOS) of Horizon Sea Lines arrived at the port of Heraklion.

The ship was purchased last May for daily cruises on the Heraklion (Crete) – Santorini run. For that purpose, she was chartered to Panellenic Lines.

Significant Greek businessmen, as well as the company CTRS – Cretan Transportation Services (Heraklion Bus Company) participate in Panellenic Lines.

FANAFJORD in Bergen

Bergen-based photographer Tom Gulbrandsen captured LNG-powered ferry FANAFJORD, on her way to Stavanger. During spring she will start to operate in the greater Hamburg area for ElbFerry.

FESTOS PALACE in Malta for Repairs and Drydocking

Minoan Lines’ FESTOS PALACE is at the Palumbo Shipyards (Malta) since 15 January, undergoing scheduled repairs and dry docking (dock no 4). The ship is expected to be back on Piraeus-Heraklion as from 15 February.

Slow Boat To Piraeus

The inhabitants of Funchal could notice the slowest fast ferry ever passing their island. The vessel is Bridgemans Trinidad LP’s OCEAN FLOWER 2, which was purchased in 2017 for the Trinidad -Tobago route.

She is under tow by the Portuguese tug MONTE DA LUZ, from Curaçao to Piraeus. Seajets is the company that purchased her.
