Greek Interest for the Small Japanese Ferry NEW IBUKI

An Ionian ferry operator seems to be interested to purchase the NEW IBUKI, of the Japanese Kan-onji City.

The ship served on the Kannonji-Ibukijima route and last March was replaced by the newbuilding NEW IBUKI II.

The NEW IBUKI was built in 1994 by Mitsui Shipbuilding (Tamano). She is 137gt, 34,76m long, 7m wide and 3m draught. Her carrying capacity is for 300 passengers. She has 2 main engines (1.300 bhp) and her service speed is 17 knots.
